good-bye purple carpet

I truly don't know what year this PURPLE carpet was installled (I am betting it was at least 30 years old) but it was in my parent's bedroom and has been for as long as I can remember. As part of the remodel/repair, it was going to be the only carpet not getting replaced so it has now been removed and replaced with some lovely brown carpet. I can't wait to see all the progress this week-end but I have to admit....that bedroom minus the purple carpet is going to feel weird!!!
