Corn Day ramblings

well the annual event has come and gone...somehow I only ended up with one picture of the whole 2 day journey...I suppose it's because I was too busy having fun!!! Most of the stories from the weekend are not appropriate for my family friendly blog but I do have a few I can share.

• on Friday night at Michael O'Brian's someone brought a baby pig. a REAL pig. and 1/2 way into the night the pig was on the dance floor and patrons were trying to make the pig drink beer. The band was playing some very loud music and somehow the pig got a microphone to which the pig expressed his extreme displeasure for the band's music by letting out a very loud EEEEEEEEEEEEEP. maybe you had to be there but picture a pig dancing, drinking beer and squealing to the music. where was my video camera?!?!?


• outside of Danny's on Saturday they had a 'video' type game where you could punch a bag to test your strength for 1 buck. Nikki and Jeff decided they needed to play but kept putting dollars in when the machine appeared to be broken. Mind you that even though it was 2 pm the vodka was free flowing and video games are hard to understand when you are under the influence. Nikki was determined to play and after a few singles went into the machine, she read the directions and said OH YOU HAVE TO PUSH START...down came the punching bag clocking Nikki right in the forehead thrusting her into the street...classic


• LATE Saturday night I was ready to leave and couldn't find Rachel to which I yelled PIXIE IT'S TIME TO GO...some dude walking by looked back at Rachel and said "WHAT KINDA NAME IS PIXIE...that AIN'T YOUR NAME" so Rachel politely replied ..."what's your name" and the dude answered................Bird Dog.

Shelby's first Corn Day for legal fun was a big success (please note I have no stories on Shelby like he forgot to pace himself and ended up in bed at 5 pm) Nikki we missed you Saturday night....
