so we spent our whole day around the fact that I wanted to eat lunch at a place called Baja Lobster...and as we drove into the area around the place, I should have known. boarded. broken. nasty. Baja Lobster closed. So we left Chula Vista and drove away from the Mexico border and back toward the San Diego area. I won't call the day a loss however.... I slept in, ate a yummy breakie, visited the beach in La Jolla, saw the sea lions frolicking in the Pacific and am now nestled into the hotel bar drinking vodka cranberries and watching Sunday football. Life is good.
and later when I am eating butterfish for my main course and a chocolate volcano for dessert, my lunchtime sadness will be a distant memory. I could get used to vacation :)
