Adventures in Sean

We have had one fabulous week...started with Sean's report card. His 2nd quarter summary says "what has been far on the horizon for Sean has come into the realm of reality, day after day. His growth in self control, increased endurance and focus on tasks, as well as his increased ability to work with less structure and more independence seem to be all coming together at the same time. Sean's language development has widely expanded too with complete sentences based on insightful thoughts. All this success is boosting his confidence too, which is the oil that keeps the wheels turning. CONGRATULATIONS!"
Going to school for 6 hours every day really takes it's toll on him (as noted in picture where he is passed OUT) but it is making such a difference. When he was diagnosed at age 2 with autism, I didn't think I would ever see a note like that from a teacher. YEAH FOR BABY SEAN!!!!

And since I am already bragging on him, he decided he wanted to go to Dairy Queen for my birthday last night and it has been 2 years (or more) since we have taken him to a restaurant other than McDonald's to play but we went for it and he did a GREAT job. He even ate his dinner!

Tell him that he needs to come to my school and help out some of the kids here!
