I am officially 42....just ask Sean. He's telling everyone he meets that on Friday my number was 41 but now that I ate my cupcakes, I am now 42. :)

Last weekend, I enjoyed a weekend get away with my friends Mary and Heather. It was a much needed, relaxing time at the beach....ahhhh......see lovely view I had while drinking wine and reading a good book.

this weekend, we did all kinds of birthday fun things including a big people dinner out with friends Mark and Margarete at Destihl. Beer battered asparagus and Cosmos. Heaven ....

but the beach was pretty heavenly, too...pretty good birthday !!!

today is MLK Jr. birthday but it is also my Aunt Pauline's 90th birthday....we saw her over the weekend and AJ got his picture taken with her!!! Happy birthday Aunt Pauline !!!!

NO MORE GREEN!!!

I have disliked the color of my living room since we bought our house....7 years ago. So about 6 months ago, I started a quest to change it. We are not done yet but here is a preview.

This is the before picture: GREEN and the next picture is the new picture: BROWN. I will have more pictures to share once the entry light and ceiling fan have been replaced. I LOVE IT!
